No picture of Cape Town is complete without the iconic Table Mountain in the background. The city bowl lies in a natural amphitheatre, bordered by Table Bay on one side and hugged by Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, Signal Hill and Devil’s Peak. The city centre may be small but it is home to a vibrant history and culture; as well as many fine shops and restaurants. It holds many attractions for any traveller and is well worth deeper exploration on a guided tour. Historic and modern architecture sit side by side, with colonial buildings, residential and business properties resting next to each other. The V&A Waterfront is an extremely popular dining shopping and entertainment complex that also offers luxury accommodation.

A little way down the stunning Western Cape Coast from Cape Town is the charming seaside village of Hermanus. This welcoming little town is renowned for its beautiful beaches, spectacular landscape, temperate climate and ‘champagne air’. Despite all these attractions, it is most well-known for offering some of the best land-based whale watching in the world.
